Currently, the Frederick family can be directly traced to George Frederick, the earliest known Frederick in what would become the United States. Given the fact he lived in a German community, where many records were kept in German, we are unsure about many details of his life. Records point to his date of birth being in 1727 in the Upper Salford portion of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
